BUGABOO BINGO

Good Afternoon!
Hubbies Christmas present from our Son, was a an  invitation for two
to have  meal and then watch the Footie! Afterwards to meet the players!
Okay! Not my kinda scene lol..Well the food is, but, sadly nothing else...So he's gone with his brother.
Gave me time to play.

I've been tidying my Craft room out this week and discovered my old sewing machine!
Believe it or not it worked straight away, hence I've stitched my card together, pleased it still works!
This image came from Bugaboo Stamps and is called Blocks ~ Humming Bird
I've taken the Humming bird out of the image with Paint.net and  replaced it with a sentiment. Think this image could be used for any occasion.
Coloured with Copics.. Lots of stickles on the tiny stars and a small pearl on five of the flowers.
Papers/Ribbon/Embellishments from stash.

Challenges entering....

Catch the Bug ~ Bugaboo B-i-n-g-o..{top line}
~Jo's Scrap Shack ~ Anything Goes

Thank you so much for calling..

Lovely card, Chrissy. The lacy layers and bright red flowers are really appealing. So glad you had a little time to play in your craft room and that you chose to link up at Jo's Scrap Shack!

A very pretty and beautiful card Chrissy! And a good decision to make this instead of going to a football game. I'm so glad my husband doesn't like football/soccer.

It's a beautiful card Chrissy, the design and colours are gorgeous, the pearls on the flowers are a lovely touch. Clever to adapt the image to include the sentiment...and real stitching too...I'm very impressed!
Hope you enjoyed your craft time, and that hubby had a wonderful time too...such a thoughtful gift from your son - not that i would have wanted to go either...but I know loads of men who would think it was the best pressie...ever!

Really lovely card Chrissy and love that Hummingbird, lol.
The lace doily looks fab against the spotty papers and the flowers are gorgeous.
Bet if the match was at Halifax Town then you would have gone - not.

You sure did a great job on the coloring here. And by altering the image and leaving only the flowers I think it's a great choice for a sympathy card. Like you say, the image could be used for any occasion, but most images can, it's harder to find those that works for sad occasions.
