ANYBODY THERE!!

Helloo!
It seems ages and ages since I was on my machine just for myself..must be well over 3 weeks! What with Christmas. New Year and our Grandsons 18th..been one busy lady...Daughter came for Christmas went home, then came again last week for the party...Trying very hard now to get back to what I call my normal!
So It's a looooong post today.

This stamp is called Bearly Full of Truffles! Coloured  in just a grey pencil with pops of yellow! Embossed it three times with a clear embossing powder, popped it into the fridge, scrunched it up, then distress over it with tea dye.. Papers from stash..The sentiment came with a digi I bought from..From The Heart Digital Stamps
There's an optional sketch over at House-Mouse and friends this week pop over and take a peek!

House-Mouse & Friends ~ Anything Goes with a Sketch {Sketch is Optional}
Gruffies & Guests ~ Buttons & Bows with the option of Anything Goes

This is a photo taken nearly 18 years ago! Our eldest Grandson had just come home for the very first time...He was  born 12 weeks early in January and they kept him in until April...Which was 12 weeks! We went to hospital ever day when I'd finished work to peek at him in his incubator. I even had to make tiny jumpers  for him when he came home as  new born were to large!

This is Josh now!
Taken on Saturday at his Birthday party..Over 6 ft tall and in his last year at College.
 University calls in September!
Makes me very sentimental just thinking about it!

Thank you sooo much for calling...

OOooh, hasn't he grown!!! Don't the years fly by, those 18 years probably went by in a flash for you Chrissy, but it's wonderful to look back and remember the baby years! You must be so proud of your handsome, strapping grandson!
As for your card, I love it! It really made me laugh, the blissful look on the cute bear's greedy little face!Love the way you've coloured, embossed and 'cracked' it, a lovely effect!

What a handsome man....time flies and as we get older it speeds past us so quickly. I have my two grandies here at the moment and one will be 15 soon and her brother 12. I still remember times with them as babies,...
Great card Chrissie, image and colours as well.. :)

Awwww who would believe it? He's grown up into a fine big lad after all the worry he must have given you 18 years ago. My niece was born 3 and half months prem, spent almost 4 months in ICU she's now 21! Fabulous card Chrissy love the image - who doesn't like to do that?? Great papers with it too! Susan x

Hi Chrissy

Happy New Year to you and yours. A fabulous Gruffie to start us off (I love the way you've kept the image monochrome. It looks great).

Doesn't time fly! Glad to hear you all had such a great time for your Grandson's 18th. Makes it all worthwhile doesn't it.

Love the photos of Josh… my he has grown into a handsome young man…. Chrissie (my daughter) was 10 weeks premature and we dressed her in dolls clothes at first. It's amazing how quickly they grow though.
