I've decided to make a Christmas Card today lol...
And a Step Card to boot!
{Cause Miz Ann over at Sassy Cheryl's wants to see one this week}
and seeing how I enter their Challenges...Here it is.....

Now these two cutie images came from Sassy Cheryl's Digi's
Mrs Claus and Fat Round Snowman!..I've coloured them both with Copics...LOts of Glitter on the Wings.......Papers/Acetate/Ribbon from stash..The trees/ fence have been covered with Diamond Dust! I've had this 'dust' a veeeery long time and never used it cause, when it first arrived I opened it to take a peek and putting the lid back on a tiny piece stuck in my finger! and it bled!! Bo Ho! Thought it was to dangerous for me! lol...Should have an over 21 sign with it! he! he! The trees Dee's Distinctively dies...The star Sizzix die with a Marianne rubber stamp running through.

Side view..I've paper-pieced Mrs Claus's 'trousers' lol..cause she's that busy getting ready for him coming home! She hasn't had the time to get dressed!...MB/Magnolia die on the first panel...Distressed all edges with Crackle paint...

I am with you on that glitter, I have never used mine either and have had it for a long time.. thought people might get cut when holding the card! Do love the sparkle of the glass though!

Oh Wow! this is SO sweet Chrissy… what a fab scene you've created with the wonderful Mrs Claus and the Fat Round Snowman!! (hee hee… the name makes me chuckle!!) I've zoomed in for a look at all your lovely details… very clever how you've done Santa on his sleigh going across the star… it looks fab! I love the Frosty Border and the little fence… and the snow covered pine forest… so many lovely details..it's a real corker of a card… love it! ;-)

ReplyDeleteHad no idea Diamond Dust was so dangerous. LOL. Knowing my luck I would have bled on my finished card and then had a good cry. LOL. Love all the whimsy in this one Chrissy. I do feel a bit stressed thinking of all I have to do before Christmas.
