DECONSTRUCTED SPOTLIGHT!

Good Afternoon! Been wallpaper shopping today. Far to many to choose from. Will have to pin a few to the wall and see how they look lol. Plenty of time the decorator can't come until the end of September.

This little sweetie is from the Happy Days 'Food for Thought' set.
Coloured with Copics and a Gelly Roll pen. Papers from stash. I've used a 'Anita's Outline Sticker for the gold strip. Knew I had them somewhere! took me longer to find them that it was to make the card! Talk about old stock, seem to remember using them when I first started out making cards.
Clouds Distress Ink 'tattered rose' Spellbinders dies.

  1. I know that feeling Chrissy- often think I spend longer looking for that little 'something I know I have somewhere' than I do making my project- what's even more annoying is when I find it and place it on the card and I don't like it anyway!!!
Your card is so sweet- love the design with the spotlight technique and that lovely subtle background.
I hate choosing wallpaper- good luck!

  8. Hello Chrissy: I adore the House Mouse Siblings, they're always doing something sweet, cute or mischievous.
In this case this sweetie is totally doing something cute and sweet, love the "spotlight" technique on the little candle, and your strawberry looks good enough to eat.
