PENGUIN PARADE

Good Afternoon!

Just trying to get back into blogging!  

We've been very lucky, but, it's an horrendous time for our village.

Floods 4 foot high. My hubbies uncle at 78 years old  had to be rescued from his down stairs flat by dingy, and is now living with my MIL for the foreseeable future.  We've just come back from my friends shop in the next village, The water had been up to the windowsills ... We took our  caravan  water containers full of hot water to clean because there's no electricity. Traffic Lights are down.. Streets laden with furniture....It's heartbreaking..The mud and smell it leaves....We've never known or seen anything like it before. 

This little sweetie lives at Bugaboo Stamps and is called Winter Penguin Trio

Coloured with Copics..Lots of Glitter too..Papers/Ribbon from stash.

Memory Box dies used..I made a 'pile' of Snowballs for extras. Sentiment from Lynne over at

Grandson's arrived home from Uni
Daughter and Partner arriving Christmas Eve from Sussex. So all our family will be together.
Today sees the start of another Challenge at QKR Stampede.
Here is my DT card..

This week Challenge is  #171 Snowman or Snowflakes

I choose digi8715 Merry Christmas Digi-Stamp

Coloured with Copics..I used a glitter pen to go over the Snowflakes that are already there.
I've a Wooden stamp that I used on the black background Stamped with VersaMark and embossed with WOW embossing powder. There's a Cuttlebug Snowflake embossing folder at the back..Spellbinder/All Occasions dies used.

Here's my first DT card..

I decided to use two stamps from  Crafter's Companion. They're  from the Christmas in Mulberry Wood Collection...Coloured with Copics..There's lots of glitter on the image and top Snowflake....

Papers are from stash..I used a Crafts Too heart embossing folder on the Magnolia trees..Other dies used are Spellbinders.

I have a list on the side of my blog which  numbers the amount  of Christmas card I've made this year and today's the big 50 how good is that and now I know I'll be starting again in January!

ABI BALLERINA

Good Morning!

I'm sat in a very different Craft room today! Our Nephew's moved and he called  to ask if would I like a new {free} computer desk! Mine was a 3ft glass one. This is a 5ft oak plus drawers! Now there's wasn't any chance of me turning it down. Course it wouldn't fit at first!  But, it does not lol.

Now this little sweetie is from All Dressed up and she's called Abi Ballerina

Coloured with Copics..LOts of glitter on his clothes..

Papers/Ribbon from stash...I've used Magnolia tree die and 'spotted' them with a Jelly Roll pen to match the snow on the ribbon.. Funky foam for the All Occasion Snowflake die..I do so LOve the funky foam...Sentiment computer..

SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN!

We've been out for our lunch today with the bowling club!
Twenty Four in total..A good time had by all..
Today sees the end of the Christmas Chaos over at
  Catch The Bug   Thought I would enter just a couple and ended up entering them all.. BIG Thank you to everyone who called to comment. I really do appreciate it at such a  busy time of  year..

Another stamp form Bugaboo Stamps this ones called 'windowsanta' he deff comes from Bugaboo, but, I can't find him in the shop??
Fussy cut and coloured with Copics..LOts of Glitter on his clothes and snowflakes.. Because he's looking in? I've covered the card with Acetate hiding the mechanics under the Spellbinder die which has  a 'Snow' Embossing folder from Cuttlebug.
