Today is a special day!  Why, you ask?   Because it is the birthday of one very fun, funky, and fabulous mama-our very own ElenaK!   For those of you who don't know.   Elena is Mrs. KennyK and our muse, our friend, and our fearless leader!   In honor of Elena's birthday the Krew though it would be nice to surprise MsK with a blog hop to celebrate!   Each of the ladies has crafted a special birthday greeting for Elena.   Won't you hop along with us?

 It was ordered a month ago, but to be fair they did say it would take so long because they made them only to order! Something about you shouldn't stand a mattress on it's side...

FROMTHEHEART CHALLENGE

Good Evening!
Been on the school run today. Freya slept at weekend and all went well. We went out for a meal Saturday evening and then came home and watch The Voice! A sleep in Sunday morning, then after lunch she was on her way home. I even said perhaps she should stop once a month this year which was taken up right away lol..Suddenly you realize just how fast they are growing! We all enjoyed the Weekend.

It's Monday again and time for another Challenge over at Fromtheheart This cutie is called
 Balloon Ride as always you get free sentiments too! I used one of them.  The thing is with some of Faiths sentiments they will go with other images which is a good thing lol. Coloured with Copics...Broken China distressed ink sky....Papers from stash..Made sure I followed the sketch again too..with a bit of a rummage I found the rather large Sizzex die for the edging.

Good Morning!
We had rain yesterday and the snow is on it's way out! {for now} Still very cold though. but, at least wrapped up warm we can go out..  Busy  today because  Freya's  sleeping tonight, I'm sure she will land right after lunch. We'll be ready!

Now this little cute and paper came from the House Mouse Triple CD  Collection . Can you see the little mouse peeking in the corner? he was on the paper too it would have been mean to leave him off lol.. Feel as though I was doing a bit of wallpapering getting the paper to match lol.....I've coloured the main image with Copics and cut round his tail so it's trailing off the die..Dices are from the computer.  ...Go Kreate/Spellbinder dies used..The sentiment is also from a CD.

This little cutie is called... digi12302 Spider Digi-Stamp   Boy!  he really made me laugh.
But, spare a though for poor little Miss Muffet eating her curds and whey when along came a ......
Coloured with Copics..I've paper pieced the little boots so they would hang down below a Spellbinder die..LOts of hand sewing in red here as well..The Shaped card is a Go-Kreate die and I used  a Tim Holtz clock die too.

WINTER SCARF!

Good Afternoon!
No going out for me today, snow, snow and more snow..It was coming down when we got up and it's still coming down!  Even our local school has sent the children home!

Another digi that lives at Fromtheheart.com  such a cutie! Thought is was app for today lol. this one's called Birdbrain Winter Scarf The nice thingsto  about these images? You always get a few sentiments too..there was four to choose from...I've used a spellbinder die to cut mine with distressed with Vintage photo...  Coloured the image with Copics...Papers/Ribbon from stash. I've followed their weekly Sketch and the twist is Monocromatic Colour Scheme! Whoo! I've managed that as well....

Good Afternoon! Cold and white here..

It's not snowed for a couple of days now, but, the pavements and roads are soooo iced up!

Took me ages this morning dog walking..trouble is more snow expected tonight.

Did manage to get to my friends though this afternoon! left the car at home and used the bus!

LITTLE SNOWMAN PROGRESSIVE CHALLENGE

Good Afternoon!
Had a nice lie in this morning, well it was for me 9.00 o'clock.  Alarm clock was set a few times during the week. had to be at our Son's a couple of days for deliveries..it's hard when they just give you 4 hour slots, but, at least they turned up during the said hours.. it could have been worse..
 We've a good coating of snow today! but, the footie hasn't been called off, so hubbies out this afternoon....time to Craft!

Cold, wet and windy here today!

So time to play whilst hubby watches Footie! 

We had lunch yesterday with 14 members of hubbies bowling club!

So nice to keep in touch with them in the Winter months and talk about other things besides Bowling!

We'll meet every month until bowling starts again in April! Time goes so fast...

soon be playing again lol.

ANYBODY THERE!!

Helloo! 

It seems ages and ages since I was on my machine just for myself..must be well over 3 weeks! What with Christmas. New Year and our Grandsons 18th..been one busy lady...Daughter came for Christmas went home, then came again last week for the party...Trying very hard now to get back to what I call my normal!

So It's a looooong post today. 

This stamp is called Bearly Full of Truffles! Coloured  in just a grey pencil with pops of yellow! Embossed it three times with a clear embossing powder, popped it into the fridge, scrunched it up, then distress over it with tea dye.. Papers from stash..The sentiment came with a digi I bought from..From The Heart Digital Stamps

This is a photo taken nearly 18 years ago! Our eldest Grandson had just come home for the very first time...He was  born 12 weeks early in January and they kept him in until April...Which was 12 weeks! We went to hospital ever day when I'd finished work to peek at him in his incubator. I even had to make tiny jumpers  for him when he came home as  new born were to large!

This is Josh now!

Taken on Saturday at his Birthday party..Over 6 ft tall and in his last year at College.

 University calls in September!

Makes me very sentimental just thinking about it!
